Last updated: 27 July 2026 · DRIVEPOINT LTD, Cyprus
This policy explains what personal data DrivePoint collects when you use this website, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. It is written to be read, not to be survived — if anything here is unclear, ask us.
1. Who we are
DRIVEPOINT LTD, a company registered in Cyprus (Chrysanthou Mylona 1, PANAYIDES BUILDING, 2nd floor, Flat/Office 1, 3030, Limassol, Cyprus), is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. DrivePoint provides consulting, document preparation and organisational support for people obtaining or exchanging a driver’s license in Europe. You can reach us at any time at ceo@drivepointlane.com.
2. What personal data we collect
We only collect the data you give us yourself through the forms on this website or through the messaging channels we publish. We do not buy contact data and we do not collect special categories of personal data.
- Your name, as you enter it in a form.
- Your contact details: a phone number, an email address, or both.
- The content of your message, including any details you choose to share about your situation, country of residence and existing license.
- For driving schools: the school name, country and city, and the contact person you provide.
- Basic technical data generated when you visit the site, such as your browser type and approximate region.
3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box before submitting a form, and — once cooperation starts — on the basis of the performance of a contract with you. We use your data to reply to your enquiry, to assess your case, to prepare and submit documents on your behalf where you instruct us to, and to communicate with you about your case. We never use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we never sell it.
4. Who we share your data with
We share only what is necessary, and only with parties directly involved in your case: the partner driving school you choose, sworn translators where translations are required, and the competent public authorities to which your application must be submitted. We also use service providers who process data on our behalf — for example the provider that delivers our website form submissions to our inbox and our email provider. All of them act under agreements that require them to protect your data.
5. How long we keep your data
Enquiries that do not lead to cooperation are deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact. Where cooperation takes place, we keep case-related data for as long as necessary to provide the service and afterwards for the periods required by applicable accounting and tax law. You can ask us to delete your data earlier at any time, unless we are legally required to keep it.
6. Your rights under the GDPR
Because we process data about people in the European Union, you have the rights set out in the General Data Protection Regulation. To exercise any of them, write to ceo@drivepointlane.com — we will respond within one month.
- The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
- The right to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- The right to have your data erased (“the right to be forgotten”).
- The right to restrict or object to processing.
- The right to receive your data in a portable format.
- The right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.
- The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Cyprus, the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection, or the authority in your own country of residence.
7. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies and local storage entries. Strictly necessary ones remember your language choice and your cookie decision, and are always active because the site cannot work correctly without them. Analytics cookies, if used, are loaded only after you press “Accept” in the cookie banner. You can change your decision at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.
8. How we protect your data
The website is served over an encrypted connection, access to submitted enquiries is limited to the DrivePoint staff who work on your case, and documents you send us are stored only for as long as your case requires them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your documents seriously — they are, after all, the reason you came to us.
9. Children
Our services are directed at adults who are legally able to apply for a driver’s license. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the minimum age for licensing in their country of residence.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change is material, we will inform clients whose cases are in progress directly.
