Case and canje check

We check whether your country has an exchange agreement with Spain, and whether you qualify for a canje or need the full course.

Medical, NIE and file

You need a psicotécnico certificate from an authorised centre and proof of legal residence. We prepare the application and book your DGT cita previa.

Autoescuela and exams

For a new license: the teórico at the DGT — available in English in most provinces — and then the práctico in your school's car. We book both.

The DGT issues a provisional permit as soon as you pass; the plastic card arrives by post. We track it for you.

New license vs. exchange in Spain

Getting a new license

Never held a license? You register with an autoescuela, take the DGT theory exam — available in English in most provinces — and then the practical exam. We handle the enrolment, the paperwork and every DGT appointment.

Exchanging a foreign license

Holders of EU licenses simply register with the DGT. If your license comes from a country with a bilateral agreement, including much of Latin America, you can canje it without exams. Other licenses follow the standard Spanish route — we tell you which case is yours before you spend a euro.

If your country has a bilateral agreement with Spain, yes — usually with a medical certificate and no exams. The list changes, so we verify your specific country and license category before starting.
